METES finds its origin back in 1971 when Siemens AG founded a factory in Dilsen-Stokkem (Belgium).
The company was primarily well-known for its high-end products for the medical and telecommunications industry inside the Siemens group.
METECH’s origin dates back to 1975 when Atlas Copco started investing in Yugoslavia. In 1980 they finished building a new plant in Smederevo (Serbia).
In 2008 METES expands and buys the factory from Atlas Copco. METECH was born and became part of the METECHCO group.
At this moment, METECH has become an exemplary and leading sheet metal company in Eastern Europe.
The METES - METECH Group currently consists of more than 500 employees and serves customers throughout Europe with flexible, high quality and cost-efficient solutions.
