From sheet metal parts to total concepts
METES in Belgium and METECH in Serbia are contract manufacturers who have always focused on the production of sheet metal components, including painting. Based on customer demand we have evolved into experts in the total concept by adding extra services like the assembly of mechanical and electrical components and testing of the final products to relieve our customers with a cost efficient solution. Today we have built a lot of experience in these areas and are proud of our dedicated teams specialized in these services. Despite the evolution towards the total concept we’ve never lost our roots out of sight and are still delivering a lot of sheet metal parts.
On demand tailor-made high level service solutions
To complement our total concept and offer our customers the best experience, we not only focus on the product itself but also on the service around the product:
- The early involvement of our highly educated and skilled engineering team allows us to fine tune and convert customer’s concepts or designs in prototypes suitable for the most cost efficient production processes;
- Dedicated order processors give customers the chance to personally discuss the planning and follow-up of their orders;
- Customized and on demand packaging solutions are offered and discussed with our customers;
- EDI-solutions are possible to relieve the administrative tasks for our customers;
- Logistic solutions like shop-order, just in sequence (JIS), just in time (JIT) and KANBAN deliveries are offered.

METES-METECH created an optimal cooperation to become a strong competitor in the European market. The combination of our central geographical location and state of the art machines allows us to compete with companies around the whole world. For each price request a case by case analysis is done to check which of our manufacturing plants would benefit the customer most. To further enhance the top quality and cost efficiency of our services, we continuously invest in the latest machinery and technologies as well as constantly evaluate our knowledge base and organizational skills.

We use the locations of our plants to advantageously manage our supply chain and have established a wide network of reliable partners in Europe. Our purchasing team is focused on finding the best suppliers at the best place for our purchase parts and external operations. Thanks to this network we are able to offer many solutions in the sheet metal world at a beneficial price. On top of our own finishing capabilities (powder painting and wet painting), we offer electrolyte galvanisation, hot dip galvanisation, KTL painting and other protective layers together with our partners. Also the supply of any kind of components combined with our sheet metal work is possible.

As Free Zone founder and member since 2012, METECH receives benefits such as:
- Easy and fast custom procedures;
- Exemption from paying VAT for direct investments, entry of goods and services;
- Exemption from paying custom duties on import of equipments, raw materials and feedstock for production;
- No requirements for bank guarantees for goods in the Free Zone.
The Free Zone allows METECH to have the same benefits as EU based companies.
